The brief

NICE 2026 brought Malaysian companies and investment funds together for a business matching programme at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Hall 2, Level G. Every company wanted time with the right funds, and every fund had a mandate it would not stretch. The schedule had to respect both, and then survive contact with a real room: late arrivals, no-shows and meetings that ran over.

What we built

  • Matching that explains itself. Each pairing came with its reasons against the fund's mandate, so organisers could see why two parties were matched before anyone sat down.
  • Top picks first. Funds shortlisted the companies they most wanted to meet. All 24 top picks were scheduled.
  • A running order on every phone. Fund representatives opened their schedule from a QR code at the table. It showed the next company, why they were matched, a timer, and buttons to end the meeting and leave feedback.
  • A live floor board. A screen in the hall showed every table: checked in, in progress, no-show or completed, with the minutes remaining.

On the day

Companies and funds checked in at the door, and the floor board showed the state of every table. When a meeting slot opened up, organisers could see it straight away instead of walking the room with a clipboard.

The result

More than 200 one-to-one meetings between 76 companies and 18 funds, with every top pick honoured. Feedback from both sides was collected in the same system, ready for MRANTI's post-programme report.
